Here you will find images and document templates that you can use to promote your Michael Martin Murphey concert.

Here are the steps for creating a poster or a ticket. You may wish to print out this page if you are unfamiliar with the process.

1) Click one of the menu items above, such as “Posters”.

2) Wait for the images to load.

3) Scroll through the images until you find one you like you like.

4) Click the image to open it in full-screen view, where you can click again if you wish to zoom in and view it full size. The images are very large because they are displayed at 300 DPI, the resolution they will print at. Your monitor displays the images at 70-100 DPI, so they will look about three times bigger on your screen than they do in print. Don’t panic, this is normal.

5) Right-click on the image you want to use to save the image to your hard drive. Name it something that makes sense and save it somewhere you will be able to find it later.

6) Open the file in an image editing program such as Microsoft Paint or Photoshop where you can add text and other information.

7) Save the edited image to a new file. JPEG is the recommended file format for compatibility if you plan to have someone else print your promotional materials.

9) Once you have our approval for the item, put the file on a flash drive or CD and take it to the copy shop to get copies printed. Alternatively, email it to someone who can print a lot of copies from a color laster printer.

This is not a turnkey system for creating posters or tickets. We can only provide raw image templates to you. Links to download and install free image editing programs are provided for you to the right.

If you do not know how to use an image editing program, you may need services of a professional graphic designer to create your promotional item for you.
