One of my favorite times of the year. I’m on the annual Gunsel Horse Adventures’ Fall Buffalo Roundup and Trail Ride. We’re rounding up some 1,500 head of Buffalo in South Dakota’s Custer State Park. It’s such a thrill to see the herd running hell-bent through the hills with the riders in hot pursuit, whips are cracking and there is lots of yelling as the riders push the herd down the hills and into the corrals. Fantastic!
